Karen Jean Schnarr of Houston became the bride of Nathan Mark Maedgen of Houston in a double ring ceremony at Addicks United Methodist Church in Houston on Feb. 18.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Deborah Schnarr of Meadows Place. The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Susan Maedgen of Troy.
The Rev. Kristi Garner officiated.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a two-piece gown featuring a lace overdress accented at the shoulder with crystal studded abstract lace flowers, delicate cap sleeves, and chapel length train. The separate soft charmeuse under dress features a sweetheart neckline and a sweep train.
The Maid of honor was Kelly Schnarr of Houston. Bridesmaids were Margaret Maedgen of Austin, Jessica Maedgen of Troy and Alice Maedgen of College Station.
Best men were Charles Beecham of Temple and Corey Brown of Lafayette, La. Groomsmen were Ryon Tucker of McGregor and Ryan Fagan of Hutto.
Seating guests were Chris Bauer and Kevin Fortney.
After a wedding cruise to the Mexican Riviera, the couple will reside in Houston.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree and Texas Tech University with a Master of Business Administration. He is employed with Prime Operating Company in business development.
The bride is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree. She is employed with Katy ISD as a teacher.
